When we practice the pause

When we practice the pause we stop.

For a moment or more we disrupt the momentum of our bodies, our minds, our emotions, our habits. We take a break from doing and allow our whole system -- and the human experiences we’re having -- to be. We come present, no matter what, and allow ourselves to be right here, right now.

In the act of consciously pausing, we stop the momentum, come into the present moment, take a breath and give ourselves a chance to say, Hello self. Here I am.

And in doing so, we slow down to the speed of knowing.
